Question

How do I get the Tab Focus Rectangle on Transparent Buttons in a published project?

I'm currently creating a project that must meet accessibility requirements (WCAG AA standards, essentially). I'm using transparent buttons but notice that they don't have a tab focus rectangle appear when I'm trying to use the keyboard to navigate the project. How do I make the rectangle appear? I've unchecked "Hide Selection Rectangle..." from the Project Publish Settings, but the rectangle is still invisible. Any guidance you can offer would be appreciated. I'm using Captivate 9.0.0.223. Thanks!

    Hi Marian,

May I know which browser you are using? Also whether you are publishing to SWF or HTML5?

    Thanks,

    Mohana

    Hi Mohana -

I've looked in both IE and Firefox. I'm publishing as HTML5.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Rod - I'm working on that but have some hoops to jump before it can happen. I'm hoping that there is another solution. I've done several searches - both of the forums and of the Internet - and haven't come up with an answer.

First...please update your Captivate version to the latest.  You are currently using a version that has been updated twice since then.

I don't know if that will resolve your issue, but it's a very recommended first step.
