How do I keep a button active for the whole project?

Hi,

I'm creating a project in Captivate 6 that requires a border, logos and a few buttons to be available on every screen. I've created the buttons using advanced actions, which has worked fine.

What I'd like to do is insert Captivate created videos into the various pages. I'd like to do multiple videos as the size of the recorded screen will need to be different, and I can then resize them all to the same size when publishing before inserting them into the project, as opposed to making one large video file and publishing that.

Unfortunately, when I try to do this, the border and buttons refuse to stay for the whole project, even when I select 'Display for rest of project' in the properties. There should be no issue of the video I drop into the slides obscuring the background as the whole project is 1100x835 and the videos are 737x653.

I tried to get round this problem by changing all buttons and images to 'Display for rest of slide' and then copying them wholesale and pasting them into each individual slide. This made them display, but the buttons then stopped working as expected.

Any help would be much appreciated.
