How do I remove the timeline pauses associated with buttons.

I am working in Captivate 9 and every time I add a button it adds a pause to the timeline. How do I prevent this in 9?

At the bottom of the timeline, reduce the zoom on the timeline.  You can then click and drag the pause indicator on the timeline to the place where you want it.  I just figured this out in my attempt to control the pause.

You can also use the Timing panel to set the pause exactly.

Well, pauses are there by default because most folks actually WANT a button to pause until it has been clicked by the user. Look at the Timing properties to turn off the pause after you insert a button.

I have seen that timing properties reference elsewhere. Where exactly can I find the timing properties menu? Again I am using Captivate 9.

I see it listed on p48 of the Captivate (9) Reference, or find it here: Chapter 2: Workspace.
