How do I separate question slides?

I am working on a tutorial. I would like there to be questions throughout the tutorial to reinforce what is being taught. The order would be kind of like 2 content slides, 2 question slides, 2 content slides, 2 question slides. Unfortunately, all the question slides get lumped together and can not be separated  so even when I attempt to add two question slides at the end, they automatically appear right after the first 2 question slides. How can I fix this problem?

Which version are you using? This has been the case in very old versions, but since quite a while you should be able to have content slides in between question slides. Unless you are not talking about normal question slides but about Pretest slides: those have to be in sequence at the start of the project.

I was using pretest slides in Captivate 8 as I didn't want them to be graded. It seems I have no choice but to use graded slides. Thank you for the help.

You should be able to have content slides between question slides.  Drag them around a bit.

If you are on Captivate 9, you can now have a different type of question slide called a Knowledge Check question that is NOT scored for including in the quiz.  These slides are just for reinforcement of the concepts being taught in the content.
