Question

How do I set a button type throughout my project?

I recently opened a Captivate 3 project in Captivate 5 only to find the buttons were stripped of their type. I tried designating one button as a text button with make button invisible checked and then saved the change. However, the change did not carry over to the other buttons because they remained without a type. Is there any way to tell Captivate to designate all buttons in a project at once with a particular type (text button)? Otherwise, I will have to go through the whole project and set each button manually (major pain). Thanks.

Hello,

Do the buttons all have the same style (before you change them), perhaps "Default caption style"? You can check this in the Properties accordion. If yes, change one button, there will be a tiny +sign next to the style after the change, then use the 'Save' button to have this change in the "Default caption style" and it will be applied to all your buttons with that style. I hope it could work like that for you. If all buttons now already have a +sign, which means overriding the default style it will not be possible that way.
