How do I set up a Bonus question in a Quiz?

I have a 30-question multiple-choice quiz that is graded, and would like to add a "bonus" question at the end-- so that if the user answers correctly they get extra points, but if they don't answer or answer incorrectly there are no consequences (and the final score is still out of 30 questions).

Is that possible to do?

Using Captivate 7.

Thanks!

No, the maximum score will always take into account all submitted questions, including the Bonus question.

Do I understand this correctly: final score can be either the result of the 30MCQ slides or the sum of those slides + bonus question result? But the passing score remains the same?

You could use 'Branch aware' in the Quiz settings. The result is that all system quizzing variables will be related either to the 30 MCQ slides or to those+bonus question: total score obtained will be higher but also the total max. score, number of questions etc. Is this what you want?

Yes that's correct. Except is it possible to keep the max score the same? So somebody could get 31/30? Or that's not possible?

Also, if someone gets 1 question wrong, but then they get the Bonus question correct, can they get 30/30?

If it's too complicated, I'll leave the "Bonus" question out
