how do I trim a video?

I'm using the trial version of Captivate 9. I have recorded a software demo, but want to trim the last few seconds, but there is no trim button.

Is Trim and Pan/Zoom only offered for subscribed users?

After sitting on the live chat a while -- I found out that Software Simulation videos cannot be trimmed or pan/zoom -- only video demos.

Weird.

Not weird at all really. You just don't totally understand Captivate yet.

Basically all you do is configure the duration of the slide. PowerPoint works in a similar way.
