How do you customise the playbar and still retain closed captioning?

Hi,

I am running Captivate 7 and Flash Professional CS6. When I customise the playbar FLA I lose the closed captioning functionality. You click the CC button but no captions are displayed. How can I edit the playbar without breaking the closed captioning? (When I publish the playbar FLA there is a warning that “Actions on button or MovieClip instances are not supported in ActionScript 3.0. All scripts on object instances will be ignored.” – this is present even in the unedited version, but the publish settings when you open the file are already AS3 which is odd.)

To test this I switched back to the default playbar and the closed captioning functionality was restored.  I thought I might have accidentally deleted something when I customised the playbar so I started from scratch and – carefully! – reskinned my buttons, but the closed captioning still died…

What’s with the error in the playbar FLAs and how do I fix it? Or does anyone know which playbar FLA I can safely re-skin in CS6??  I've tried a couple now and I'm not having any luck.

Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions!

Actually, don't mind me. I managed to resolve the issue! I didn'tt change the scaling on the icon_mc icon in the pbcBtnCC button which contained the ‘CC’ shape/fill and this seems to have been the problem (I’d been adding a text label ‘Closed Captioning’ and setting it to 100% so the text wasn’t distorted). If you leave it as-is at 78.9% x 53.2% the functionality isn't broken.

Hope the info helps anyone else who encounters the same issue!
