How do you edit a word search interaction in Captivate 7?

After inserting the word search interaction  - i clicked generate & it was added to the slide...Great.

I then selected the widget and clicked Properties to edit it.  But when I added more questions & hit generate the second time - it did nothing. 

Then when i return to the screen- the whole word search is blank - it's just blue square on the screen.  None of my original words & hints or new words & hints appeared at all.

Where did they go?

Any suggestions on how to edit this widget would be helpful.
