How do you program a presentation to end on slide one without replaying?

I am new to Captivate and cannot find out how to program the last slide to go to the first slide and not replay the presentation. I can get to the first slide but the presentation replays. Thanks!

The first and last components of the presentation are the same image, however at the end of the presenataion the image fades out leaving the presentation area blank. I have it so the presentation does not auto start because it is at the bottom of a web page presenting information on how to perform a particular type of maintenance on a radar system.

I would prefer it loop to the beginning and be ready for replay but not automatically replay. If that cannot be accommodated, having the presentation stop at the last image and not fade out to nothing would be acceptable.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi there

There are a few different approaches you might consider for this.

You might place a button on the last slide that is labeled "Replay Movie" and program it so that when clicked it would just jump to Slide one to replay.

On the "let's swat that gnat using a bazooka side", you could create a variable that tracks whether the project has been viewed once. Then configure a Click Box on the first slide that is hidden until the movie has been viewed. Then it is revealed and pauses playback on the first slide.

Good suggestion about adding a button. I added an image that looked like a faded out version of the last image of the presentation and added an image of the Start button found at the beginning. On top of the Start button image I placed an invisible button - all works perfect.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    Hi there

What is the purpose of returning to slide one and stopping there? Is it that you simply wish to present the appearance of what slide one contains? If so, why not simply add one more slide at the end that contains this image, then stop there?

Otherwise, perhaps insert a Button object on slide one to pause it.
