You can also click the checkmark next to  Redrag the dropped source if you want to allow users to change their minds. This will not allow a user to place a drag object back to where it started, but it will allow them to move drag objects to another drop target.

Once the user has dragged a source to a drop target, it cannot be dragged back. There are however two possibilities to get the drag source back to its original position:

    • when the drag action is wrong, you can have the drag source going back automatically to its original position
    • when the user drags another drag source to the same drop target, it can replace the first drag source which will return

Both features can be chosen after having indicated which drag source can be accepted by a drop target. That has to be done in the Object Actions dialog box (default setup has 'Accept All', which has to be changed) for each drop target. You'll find the button to open that dialog box in the D&D panel when you select a drop target (in the first tab, not under Actions). Replace and Back options are found there as well (default is Back).
