How I can disable IE shortcut (like Ctrl-F4 or Ctrl-L) to use them in a Captivate simulation?
Javascript? Other?

    Yes, JavaScript would likely need to be used. But I'll warn you that it probably won't be an easy task. I say this because I've tried many times and wasted many a frustrated hour in the process trying to do just what you are asking.

    I don't claim to have extraordinary JavaScript programming prowess, but I get along okay and can get myself in and out of most trouble. Once, I even developed a complete web page from scratch with all manner of JavaScript calculations that emulated a similar thing in an Excel spreadsheet. So I'm no stranger to JavaScript, but am also no guru. I've tried many "solutions" for trapping keystrokes and feeding them into Captivate and haven't found anything yet that I think was totally successful.
