how long before i get an activation code

My trial expired today so I purchased the software.  I'm in an terrible bind time-wise and had no idea that Adobe would make me wait after I paid for the program to send me the activation code.  They're saying it could take up to 24 hours, which I truly do not have.  I cannot access my project at all right now.  Any idea if there's a way to speed this up?  I know it doesn't help that it's a Sunday.
