How long does Pause last?

In Captivate 8 how long does the Pause action last on default? Is there a way to alter the time the Pause lasts?Thanks.

It lasts forever, until some action un-pauses it.

There are different 'pauses' in Captivate! Since you are on 8 you do not have the last one, where in a advanced action you can delay commands for a certain time. The pausing by an interactive object (which has no effect on slide audio, will continue playing) will be over if the user clicks the object (or confirms an entry for a TEB) and the executed action is a simple (single) action. The pausing will remain if this is an advanced or shared action, and no 'Continue' command is included. If you want to pause everything (also slide audio), you have to use the command Pause in an action. That pause will remain until a command 'Continue' is launched or a smple action on an interactive object is executed.
