What do you mean by 'a frame selection'?

I think what they mean is that when you select a title within the TOC that it should close rather than staying open when you have navigated to the page selected from the TOC.

You mean a slide? I'm confused because each slide has many frames, 30 per second in a default setup.

It cannot close automatically, but I can propose this workaround, since you are navigating to another slide:

    • Select all the slides in the Filmstrip, with CTRL-A
    • In the Properties panel, tab Actions (supposing you have version 8, for previous versions scroll to the accordion Actions), open the dropdown list next to On Enter (that is the On Enter event for the slide)
    • Choose Hide TOC

This will only be functional if the TOC is set up In Overlay. When entering any slide with this On Enter action, the TOC will be closed.
