How to avoid typing appearing outside of text application field in recording?

Can you please check the Display percentage? For software simulations and for Video Demo recording you need to set that percentage back to 100%. With high-resolutions screens the OS will often set it higher for reasons of readabiity.

Two things to try.

The first is if you are in Windows and have Scale and layout set to something other than 100%, change it back to 100%. Do this at least while recording software simulations.

The second thing is that you can run into problems when you try to capture an application on a monitor other than your primary monitor. For example, if you have a laptop and an external monitor, try moving the application you are recording to the laptop screen itself.
