How to batch convert PPT files to HTML5 in Captivate

Greetings, this is my first time on the forum.

I have 2 sets of 40+ files to convert from Powerpoint to HTML5 and am looking for a way to automate the process.

The procedure is simple but extremely long : Open a new Powerpoint project in Captivate (I'm using version 8), import the file in high-fidelity and publish as HTML5.

Hope someone has a solution

Thanks and best regards

This will not be the answer you expect, I don't think batch conversion is possible. Being consistent, I always tell everyone that you should not use Captivate to convert a PPT to HTML5. Use a plugin like Adobe Presenter or iSpring for that goal. In Captivate each PPT-slide will be converted to something like a movie slide, replicating the animations and timing set up in PPT. That means that you don't have the possiblitiy to change timing, the individual objects will not appear. It may seem a quick way to create a HTML5 presentation but you'll never end up with real eLearnng, using all the interactiivity functionality of Captivate. Moreover forget about creating a responsive project.
