Question

how to change background color of fullscreen exe

Hello!

I'm using Captivate 5.

I have a project with a resolution of 1024x576. The presentation is centered with a lightgray border when it runs in fullscreen on an screen with a higher resolution for example 1280 x 768.

How can i change the background-color?

I tried the settings for the border in the skin editor for html-background, but this has no effect on the exe-file?

What do i wrong?

Best regards

The border and background settings only apply to the HTML/SWF output.

The EXE output doesn't have an HTM file involved and is designed to play in its own encapsulated Flash player window.  So if you resize it, you don't get more background, you just enlarge the content in the window.

    ok ...

this explains why it shows no effect ...

is there an option to change the background of the fullsize player window?

Yep. Change the background on the Master Slide that all of your slides are linked to (if you have Cp5x).  Or if you're one Cp4, add a suitably coloured rectangle to the background of your first slide and set it to show for rest of project.
