Hello, I've made a learning video for training in a company. I want the button in the main menu to change color when all the learning is done. How to do it? I've been looking for the tutorial but can't find it.

I have no experience with Adobe Captivate. Please help, thanks 🙂

Which 'main menu' are you talking about?

Are you talking about the default Captivate Table of Contents or some other menu (e.g. in the LMS).

Please provide a screenshor of what you are talking about so that we can better understand what you are talking about.

You mentioned that you have no experience with Captivate, so I am assuming you are unaware of Object States.  That means Object States would be the first thing you need to research because if you set up a custom state for each of these buttons and make that state look the colour that you want, then you are halfway home.

The other part of the equation is to decide how to trigger an action that changes the state of each button.  You mention that you want the appearance of the button to change when all the content on another slide is completed.  (Presumably this slide is the one that you get to by clicking the button, yes?)

That action might be as simple as just having another button on the slide that needs to be completed and setting that button to execute an Advanced Action that does two things:

    1.  Changes the Object State of the button on the menu slide to show completion.
    2.  Jumps the user back to the Menu slide

If the situation is more complex than this, you may need a Conditional Action.  But I would suggest you go for the simplest solution first so that you learn to walk before you try to run.
