How to change the default duration of inserted PowerPoint slides in captivate 8?

The default duration of inserted PowerPoint slides is 3 seconds. Although I changed the default slide duration of cp8, the duration of inserted powerpoint slides remains unchanged. The problem is, the click_box on each inserted powerpoint slide is only 0.3 secs long and appears only at the END of the 3-sec duration of each slide, which means that I shall have to wait at least 3 - 0.3 = 2.7 secs in order to be able to click on the click_box to advance to the next slide. I understand that I can batch change the duration of the powerpoint slides AFTER they are inserted, but this has the unfortunate effect of moving each of the 0.3-sec-long click_box to the beginning of each slide (rather than remaining at the end). Is there a solution to this problem? I mean, I want to either change the default duration of ppt slides inserted in cp8, or be able to click on a click_box to advance to the next slide without having to wait until each slide progresses to its last 0.3 seconds.

    Hi there

    You can try selecting all the slides in the Film Strip, then looking at the properties panel. Try to reduce timing there.

    Hi, Captiv8r, thanks for your reply, your method has the effect of moving the 0.3-sec click_box on top of each inserted ppt slide from the end to the beginning of each slide. This means that although I can batch-reduce the length of each slide to (as it turns out) no shorter than 1 second, every slide stops after only 0.3 secs because of the click_box which now lies at the beginning of each slide. This is not exactly what I want, because I have also added some 0.5-sec-long animations to a lot of slides, and 0.3 sec is not long enough to play the 0.5-sec-long animations.
