Question

How to change the next button on 100 slides globally?

cloned and customized my "PREV" & "NEXT" rollover buttons from main library and selected the current buttons on stage to swap them on slide one. It worked.

But, I was hoping this woudl be global, I have 100 slides or so, do i have to do this on all 100 slides?

how can i make this global for my next button, rather than just for the sldie?

THe same button has a differnet button Item Name on each sldie, but i don't klnow if that matters.

anyone?

Yes, I tried to use the object style. I'm just wondering why is it so hard to just update a particular image.

    thanks.

This is Mac version 5. The buttons are in the main library that I changed the text on externally.

There was no image property option to Edit or Update when I right click to alter the originals like I wanted, because it is not in the standard library as a graphic assets, these are the buttons that are bundled with Captivate in the Gallery/Buttons/ folder...

    Hello,

I only use the Win-version but would have used the Object Styles in this case and set the new button as Default Button Style (or apply the changed style to all buttons if they all  used the same button style before you started to change). But I do not know if this is possible in Mac version.

    Hi,

I got the same problem too. I have tried to clear the cache and everytime i relink the image, the old image keeps appearing instead of the updated one. Any solutions??
