Perhaps you could approximate something that would convey the same meaning with some state changes and a button to cycle through them.

@Stagprime2687219 That was the reason for my question: does it need to be a pure animation or do you want interactivity? You are thinking about the second scenario, Rod about the first...

I used combination of multistate objects and motion paths for the examples in this tutorial:

My first question would be: do you want a passive animation, or do you need it to be interactive? Completey agree with Rod Ward that a dedicated tool like Animate would be a better choice (I don't like AE that much). It may be possible with CP's effects but would be very cumbersome to create.

Hello !

thanks for your reply. I wanted a passive animation. I manage to do it but my time line is so big now haha !

What do you mean by 'my timeline is so big'? If you want something passive, a solution with a multistate object and buttons is all but passive. An animation has some limitations about controlling it, which is not the case with the Effects in Captivate, nor with video. If you really explained your goal, some passive alternatives could pop in here.

That animation is not really something that would be possible to do with default Captivate animation tools.

Your best bet would be to create it in another app such as Adobe Animate (part of the Creative Cloud) and then bring it into Captivate as an HTML5 animation.  Alternatively, you could create it in Adobe After Effects (also part of Creative Cloud) and bring it in as a video file.

Do you have access to either of these apps, or any other animation software that could create something similar?
