Hi, I have a request to create a scorm wrapper for an html file for the purposes of tracking its usage in an LMS.  Is there a way to do this with Captivate or Multi SCP packager?

Thanks TLCMediaDesign for jumping in.

If you're just looking for a way to make HTML5 Content SCORM compliant then I'm thinking you haven't found PipWerks?

This blog entry is a 'how to' for converting HTML5 to SCORM.

I don't think this will adapt to Captivate very well unless you know what you are doing.

I use custom SCORM adapters built into Navigation Widgets for SWF and all of our HTML courses use custom SCORM wrappers. We build our manifests also.

Cp's wrapper seems to work just fine for most circumstances.

Hi, Question:  the file doesn't contain a quiz, but I should still check quiz and not slide completion?  The user has to click on things in the simulation, but I don't care if they enter them right or wrong.  Could that be why the file isn't registering completion?  My LMS does not require a zip file so I've been publishing it to a folder.  That shouldn't make a difference, right?

When you say an HTML file, do you mean one published from Captivate?

You do not need quiz checked if it does not have a quiz, select slide views.

You don't need Interaction Data checked either.

Yes, enable reporting and identify the standard of choice.

(Your LMS Documentation or user forums would likely have best practice on how to configure these.)

then Configure:

Oh, and finally, publish as a ZIP file:
