How to create sections in same project

In Captivate I want to create 3 sections in the same project and I want if one section button is clicked then only that selection slides to be shown till the course is completed by attempting that section quiz. Is this possible if yes can anyone guide how in a newer version of Captivate?

If I were doing this, I would just create my own quiz interactions using custom buttons and advanced actions. And this would control the ability to "pass" each section.

Then, I would just do a final quiz at the end after completing all 3 sections that is actually caculated in Captivate and pushed out via SCORM.

This allows you to "lock" each section behind a Knowledge check, and then have a clear representation of overall project knowledge by cumulative quiz at the end of the course.

An alternative to that is using clearly distinct point values for the quizes for each section. Like, 10 points per question in Section 1, 11 Points per question in Section 2, and 13 points per question in Section 3. That way, each question is basically still worth the same in each section, but the total points will be unique enough to gauge which section they were missing the most questions out of.

Hey There,

You can make a main slide and make interaction buttons for each section, when section ends and quiz completes last slides returns user to the main slide. This should be done, but I don't know how to handle 3 different quiz scores in Scorm. In Captivate 12, editing something is really limited.

Hi, Yes I tried doing that but scores can't be controlled I believe which is the main problem and I also need a separate quiz score. I agree Captivate 12 has very limited options. Thanks for your help.

So what I understand you are trying to do is have a single project with three sections. If a learner chooses a particulat section then only the slides for that section must be displayed. You then want a quiz to be completed based on each section. If this is what you want, why not just create three separate projects?

Everything can be done except the quiz. I do not think a single project can have 3 separate quizzes in it.

I'm doing a project for my organization and the requirement was it to be in one project. Now I know it's not possible so I can discuss this accordingly. Thanks for your response
