Question

How to customise XPNote style colours in Adobe Captivate Classic.

Is there a way to customise the style for XPNote in Adobe Captivate. My client has requested a colour scheme that is not covered by the default XPNotes styles. I suspect there maybe a script that can be used to manipulate the colours.

Thanks

Please mention the full version number you are using as mentioned under Help, About Captivate.

Are you talking about the Notes learning interaction? I am sorry, but that learning interaction doesn't have options for changing the colors at all.

Many thanks for getting back to me. I am using version 11.8.3.8. Please see screenshot below for the caption I am referring to.

OMG! Sorry, I didn't even know that this old caption style is still used. Even in the demo projects and Quick Start Projects bundled by Adobe, the only caption style they still use is transparent, just a text style.

You could create a custom caption style, but it is much easier to use a shape and edit its style as text container. That can be done from within Captivate. For caption styles you need a graphics editor and also define an extra file. If you really want to do that for a caption, I will look it up tomorrow. You have a very stable version (I still use it myself) but since version 6 I never defined any caption style anymore. I have to look far in my memory and it is already 11pm here.
