How to disable and enable the Welcome screen in Captivate 9

Is there a way to enable the Welcome screen in Captivate 9 once it's disabled? I don't remember if I disabled it to begin with, and perhaps it only shows when you start the application, but I don't see a way in the Publish Settings... to enable it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi there

When you say "Welcome screen" I'm thinking you are referring to the Captivate application itself. But you are mentioning "Publish Settings" and that seems to imply you might mean something different.

So can you expound on what is meant when you say "Welcome Screen"?

Hi Rick -

Yes, I'm referring to the Welcome screen that you see when you log in to the Captivate 9 application itself. See the image below. How do you keep that as a part of your tabs once you open a file within Captivate 9? Or is that possible?

Hi there

Unfortunately there used to be an option to turn this welcome screen off or on. This no longer seems to be the case. It simply disappears once you begin working with a project and the only way to see it again is to close any and all open projects.

If you need rapid access to a recent project, you still have the option of clicking File > Open Recent and navigating to other projects.
