How to get the retake quiz function to work when exported to HTML 5 - Captivate 9

We have created some e-learning courses in Adobe Captivate to be run on an LMS on behalf of a client. The courses contain a test at the end which the learner has to complete to continue. We are exporting these as HTML5 to SCORM settings.

The courses are all but complete, but for one glitch. On the end slide, if the learner has failed the test, they press the 'retake' button and it takes them to the beginning of the test to try again, but the test fields are still filled with their previous answers and they are unable to retake it.

This is not a problem when we export to SWF, only HTML.

Is this a common problem? How can we go about resolving it? Is there a way to add a custom action to the retake button to clear the form and jump to the beginning of the quiz perhaps. At the moment, we have it set to 'jump to slide'...(the first quiz slide).

Thanks

What are your preferences set to? I have Cp9 at home, but not at work so I have to give you a Cp8 answer.

In Cp8 there's a setting in preferences that will allow you to use the built in retake button. I'm thinking, based on what you've written, that this is what you need.

Could you test on SCORM Cloud? Is the LMS ready for HTML5? It feels weird

that I works with SWF output, which means you are using the default Retake

    button.
