How to hide a text caption box until a condition is met...

I'm a new user and most of the discussions I've reviewed thus far are over my head.  I am trying create an action for a click box.  The attempts allowed = 2.  Upon the third failed attempt, I'd like to (1) show a caption box stating "here, I'll show you;"  (2) continue.  It seems like this should be easy, but I just can't get it to work.  Thanks, in advance, for any help you can provide.

Maybe you need to watch some training, or take a training, or read tutorials.

I don't even understand this contradiction:  'The attempts allows = 2',  and bit later 'Upon the third failed attempt'??? What do you mean?

Great if you figured it out, was pretty simple if it is indeed only a click box with 2 attempts.
