Question

How to hold on the current page

Hi,  I have just started with Captivate for producing e-learning courses.

I have set up a number of slides.  At the moment, when I preview the project the slides move onto the next one automatically.  I would like it to hold on the screen until the user press's the 'next' button on the navigation bar given. Is there a 'hold on slide' command or anything I can use?

Thank you!

Andy

Adobe Captivate provides different interactive objects like buttons, click boxes, text entry boxes. Each object helps to achieve different functionalities but all these object stop the slide until users click thse objects.

Try to make use of any of these objects to pause your slide from moving ahead.

    Hi Andy,

If you have many slides to pause you can download this pause widget for free: http://www.captivate4.com/2009/05/04/captivate-pause-widget/

It will automatically pause each slide 1.5 second before they end.
