How to host Captivate videos

Hello!

I'm researching Captivate and was wondering if anyone knows how the videos are hosted. Do the published videos need to be stored in a specific location? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. I don't speak API, HTML, or any IT language, so if you could explain your response in plain English, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am assuming that you do not want to embed your videos in Captivate. If you have a YouTube account, you can upload your video marking it as "unlisted." This way the video will remain private and only those with access to your Adobe Captivate project will be able to view it. This will keep your file size smaller and the bandwidth strain on YouTube instead of your own network.

Thanks for responding! Our agency wants to use Captivate, which means embedding the videos. Would you happen to know if YouTube will allow for user engagement? I assume not. I'm researching to learn more about Captivate, but I'm unfamiliar with it and how it all works. A lot to learn and digest.
