Is it possible to insert a large amount of text (about 450 words/Times New Roman/12) on one screen?

You can always use the Scrolling Text interaction in Captivate.

Content of that interaction is stored in a variable, and I think its limit is 255 characters? Not sure, I never did put that much on a slide, if I need more text, will prefer one of the content interactions (Tabs, Accordion, even Timeline or Pyramid) to make it less boring.

I agree, as I like the Tab interactions also. I use Flash reading xml most of the time though, to hold our narration scripts with the instructor info off to the right, like in Presenter.

    Hello and welcome,

Really? Do you think that is a good idea for elearning? Wouldn't it be better to create a well formatted pdf and add a link to it?
