How to link a movie with timeline?

Question

i am using captivate 2017 on Win7 Enterprise, 64Bit.

I have an issue, that if i insert a short clip into the e-learning, the clip is running independent from the timeline. So if i press pause, the clip continues and its not synchronized anymore with the audio from the time line.

i need help, because this is really a bad thing, if its not possible.

Event video plays independently of Captivate. You need o insert the video as Synchronized video (it is indicated as Multislide, but is possible on one slide). This and a lot more to be found in:

You will have to extend the slide duration to the duration of the video of course, which is not necessary for event video.
