Question

How to make an image of lungs expand and contract like they are breathing

Hi

I am new to Captivate and want to animate an image of a pair of lungs as though they are breathing.

I imagine this could be done using 2 images - one which shows the lungs contracted and the other which shows them expanded.

Those of you who are experienced, it this the way that you would tackle this animation?

I would be grateful for your thoughts.

Thankyou

You wouldn't do it in Captivate but in an external program as an animated gif or HTML5 animation and import it in. I've imported anims from Photoshop and Google Web Designer and they work great.

You didn't mention if you want the animation to be linked with a user action within Captivate? If you just want to show an animation, then windscorpion's suggestion is fine (I would use Edge Animate in that case) because you have more control over the tweening. Such an animation will play totally independent from Captivate, you have to be aware of that. And it helps if you mention which version of CP you are using, which output you want, and if it is for a responsive project.
