How to Permanently Delete Trim Area using Video Express

Question

Is there a way to permanently delete a "Trim" area in Video Express? Currently when I select a "Trim" area it becomes a different shade of green and does not appear in the final video after publishing, which is fine, but I also want to get rid of it permanently so that it's just gone. Is there a way to do this?

Hello Michael,Like you rightly observe, when you publish the video the soft trims will be honored; but they are still there in the project. This way what you recorded will always be preserved; and you can publish multiple output variants from a single source. We wanted to provide for "non-destructive editing"; and so we have only "soft trims" in Presenter Video Express at the moment. RegardsRamesh
