How to Prevent White Fade-In/Out?

I have a Captivate 5.5 project with a single slide that was captured by full-motion recording. When I publish the file as an MP4 the video starts with a blank white screen with a 1-sec. fade-in to my actual content. One second before the end of the MP4 the video fades to white. I don't want this fade-in/out effect. The single slide in the file has no transition. When I scrub from the beginning to the end of the slide there is no fade effect. I can't find any file or publish setting related to a fade transition. Where is this coming from? And how can I get rid of it?

Hi there

Did you check Edit > Preferences > Project > Start and End? There is a setting there labeled "Fade out on the last slide". Perhaps it's enabled?

Doh! That was it. I had looked in Preferences but just glossed over Project>Start and End.

Thanks! This will save me a lot of time by not having to set in/out points in Premiere Pro.

I'm creating a project with a similar issue, but it occurs on every slide without a button. Any time I create a slide without a button the slide will fade when the display time ends. The slide transition is set to No Transition, and I can't find any specific setting in preferences to turn it off for the project. Surely, I'm missing something!

Any assistnance you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
