Question

How to put glow (or blink) effect on a button, continuously, until the user clicks on it

Hi,

I want to make the Next button glowing or blinking continuously, until the user clicks on it to move to the next slide.

Is it possible to repeat (loop) the glow effect, until user clicks? Or is it another option to do this?

Thanks

I actually prefer using the animated arrows that come with Captivate at:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x64\Gallery\SWF Animation\Arrows

Some of these are great for repeatedly pointing at a button or something that you want the learner to pay attention to.

Hi Rod,

I too am following this conversation. Are you aware of a way to do the task in a responsive project using Captivate 8?

Thanks,

Peter

If you were trying to create the same effect as I described above with the animated SWF arrows for HTML5 or Responsive projects you would need to use an animated GIF.

For those graphics you would need to go to websites that sell such images.  I don't think Captivate provides them.

If you have Adobe Flash, another alternative is to find one of the animated arrows in the Gallery for which Adobe has kindly provided the original FLA files and open that in Flash to output an Animated GIF version of the same animation.
