how to remove "clip" from title of audio

I need fairly descriptive names for the clips I record for slides. But the word "clip" is appended to the front of each, making only a bit of the actual name partially visible. (My fonts on the computer are set large because I'm partially blind; don't know if that affects Captivate or not.)

Is there a way around this?

The word "(clip)" gets added when you edit an audio file in Captivate. Right-click the file from the Library and rename it as per your requirement.

I knew this. I have myself changed audio names! Why do such basic things continue to vanish from my mind as I work through each new hurdle? Seriously, I don't understand it. I'm not usually stupid! Grrrr.
