I am facing flickering issues in the generated mp4 video (Select Preset: Youtube widescreen HD). How to resolve this? Or, which version of Captivate solves this issue?

Captivate is not really meant to create videos, but interactive courses.

Do you have applied Effects in the project? Or do you have inserted videos? Which type of objects are you using? Shapes are more sensible to flickering. I never use Captivate to create passive videos, but applying transitions (fade in/out) to the objects could solve some flickering.

I use Captivate to create tutorial videos. I encounter flickering issues when I include scroll screens with audio. I didn't use any objects or shapes.

I see, you talk about the FMR-slides. They always cause the same problems. Since output got limited to HTML I always replace those slides by Video Demo slides. The problem with publishing those slides is that they were normally converted to FLV (Flash player technology) but now will be converted to MP4 on publishing, and that conversion is not always functioning well. Another reason to leave using software sims to produce passive videos, and replace them by the Video Demo which has a much better editor and output quality (always to MP4) is much better.
