Question

How to slow down the slide changing speed

I have several PP2010 presentations which I want to upload to youtube.

When using Presenter, I get a pdf where I can get the next slide with a click.

When exporting to youtube a f4v video the resulting video is too quick.

How can I slow down the slide changing speed?

Or is there a way to get on youtube a video with "click for next slide"?

thanks a lot

This is a Captivate forum, not Presenter. Here is the link to the Presenter forum

A video is never interactive, so click for next slide is not possible. PDF has the flash player built in, that is why you can have interactivity.

To slow down, you'll have to time in Powerpoint and keep in mind that there is no click to pause (except of course the pausing button of the video).

I found the solution:

storing the swf files on my server gives the user the posibility of click to next slide..

But I want to show this content as running video also on youtube for page rank and more visitors.

So still I want to know how I may reduce the automatic slide time in captivate when importing a PP presentation.

Now I'm totally puzzled: suddenly you talk about Captivate, not about Presenter?

Captivate, when importing a PPT will just keep the timing as it was in the PPT, each PPT-slide is turned in sort of a 'slide video' with all the timings of the presentation. So I repeat my advice: check the timing in the PPT.
