How to synchronize audio when importing PowerPoint

Hi All,

I have a very simple problem, that everyone who tried importing animated PowerPoint presentations should be facing also. In brief:

1) I have an animated PP presentation that I need to import to Captivate and add audio

2) Captivate imports the entire animated slide from PP with no track breakdown on separate animation objects

3) If I add audio in captivate, there is no way to synchronize that animation with audio

4) I tried also Adobe Presenter 7, but it allows adding audio in PP only for its own swf format, i.e. no use for Captivate import

What is the best way of synchronizing PP audio?

It looks to me as the simplest way woud be to forget PP and recreate presentations in Captivate by importing simple graphical objects.

Any better ideas?

Thanks,

Andy

    Hi Andy

You might find that acceptable results are obtained by configuring the PP to play in a window. Then use Captivate to surround the area of the PP and record it as it plays. This would allow you to control the timing more easily.

    Cheers... Rick
