How to use spacebar instead of mouse click

I've tried finding this but can't seem to.

Is there a way to make it so the spacebar goes to the next slide, or lets the current slide play, or whatever action like that?

You can assign key shortcuts to a click box or a button, but spacebar is not a possibility. You can use Enter or most other keys or key combinations.
