htm file does not launch

I've searched the forum for every word I can think of, but can't find an answer to this.

I recently upgraded to Captivate 2, and have converted a project from 1 to 2. After making some edits, I published to Flash, exporting to an htm. Once published, I copied the files to an ftp site we use. We launch the htm file from a published Articulate presentation.

This method has worked perfectly in the past, but now when I click to launch the htm file, I get a blank screen. Any ideas why this might be happening?

    Hi karimc

You need to be sure to copy *ALL* the files you need. There are more with Captivate 2. You are probably missing the standard.js file. You may also need to copy the ProjectName_skin.swf file as well, depending on your project settings.

Oh, you have got to be kidding. After all my searching and all I needed was that?

If I have multiple swfs and htms in a course folder do I need to include the js file more than once?

    Hi again

Sorry. This one nails probably 80% of the folks switching from Captivate 1 to Captivate 2.

If all of them are in the same folder, nope. But if you are organizing into different folders, then the short answer is yes, you need to copy it to all folders where the projects are. Of course you could probably just place it in a single location and amend your seed file(s) to simply point to a single location. But that's a bit beyond the question at hand.

Thanks for your help and patience.

Just out of curiosity, can you think of any other things that are going to trip me up in my move to Captivate 2?
