HTML Publishing Error - Captivate 8

Using Adobe Captivate 8.0.1.242

We have many projects. All with the same basic format. Trying to publish them all swf/html. All were able to publish except for one project - one of our smaller projects.

I removed all symbols from the file name and cleared cache.

The error I get is "Could not delete folder" with a folder extension.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi,

Please try the below few things,

1.Check if you have write permission to that folder to which you are publishing,

2.Check If you have opened any of its files before.

3.Try changing the Project Title in the publish dialog.

Still you do not get the issue resolved please share the project with us at dgp@adobe.com to investigate.

    Thanks

Changing the name worked, but I have to change it to something completely new every time I publish it again. It was then throwing an internal error so I had to narrow it down to a few slides that were causing it and change them. Everything is fixed regarding the publishing, but I opened the project to work on it today and all the colors have changed from the theme it was set on. The shapes and buttons that were blue are now grey or black.

    Thank you for your help!

This is beginning to sound like a corrupted Theme or a corrupted Project CPTX.

Either way, make sure you have backups turned on and then save and close a couple of times to get the backup created.  Then copy all slides into a new blank project of the same dimensions.  Sometimes this will strip out the corruption.
