Question

html5 content not viewable in moodle

This is a repost. I have developed a module using captivate 7. A SCORM package is created and the content uploaded to a moodle server. The Flash works fine. The HTML5 does not. Rod Ward mentioned something about the flash settings but I'm not sure if it applies in this case. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks,

Dan

    Dan,

As I mentioned in your last post,  Flash Security is NOT a problem when running from a web server.  And Flash is NOT used anyway in Captivate's HTML5 output.  Your issue is likely to be some other incompatibility.

You need to verify what version of Moodle you are using. It could be that your LMS version is not HTML5-ready.  It could also be that your browser version is not HTML5 compatible.

The Moodle forums will likely be able to help with information as there will be a great number of Moodle content developers trying to use HTML5 at the moment since Moodle is very big in the academic sector and students are heavy users of mobile devices.
