I wonder if its a Chrome Extension you or your company has installed. Maybe something conflicting with HTML5 output..

Unfortunately thats not an option for me. My courses are dispersed all round the world (not because there great, just who I work for), so any add on can't be turned off on all the machines. I'm rebuilding from scratch to see if I can narrow it down. Thanks for your ideas.

Stuffs hit the fan here so I am going to have to rebuild in 8 and revisit this later as time is running out.

    Thanks again Jas

Can you open the console in the Developer Tools and see what errors are being thrown?

    Thanks for reply

I've opened the console but could not see any errors, Its hard to test as its fine on Macs. Have limited access to PC's. I will drag an old one out of storage and test on there, will hopefully have a clearer picture. I have not had this issue outputting HTML5 with Cap 8 but am aware it was an old issue with Chrome 36 (Cap v7 & 8).

Just wondered if anyone was outputting to HTML5 and viewing successfully in Chrome 54. My course also includes Jquery accordions and tabs, can these course issues?

We test on Chrome 54.0.2840.71. No issues.

I would try removing those interactions and trying again. Try to isolate the offending culprit.

    Hi Jason,

Is it freezing in any particular place, say a "video" or is it random? Also I haven't heard any other reports of HTML5 ouptut freezing so it may be specific to your course or LMS.

    Cheers

Hi thank you for getting back to me, and sorry for delay.

The module just has a spinning gif at the beginning, nothing else happens.  It loads perfectly on all the Macs and multi browser.

On the PC it works in explorer but freezes in chrome.  Not been able to download firefox to test, as its not my work machine and is currently in use. Have outputted a new splash screen as HTML5, with nothing else on it and that still sticks.
