HTML5 with TOC into YouTube

We publish our Captivate projects to html5 (so they can be viewed on any device) AND so they can have a Table of Contents. We want to put these videos on YouTube BUT we need to retain the Table of Contents - so the MP4 publish option does not work for us. How do we get a html5 video with Table of Contents uploaded and running on YouTube? Appreciate any help.

As Rod points out: this is a common misunderstanding probably due to that hype term 'interactive video'. Pure video is always passive, unless you call play/pause and the progress bar as being interactive. Whenever you want more interactivity like that TOC (which allows navigation), popup buttons, keypoints to navigate to, you need to putlblish to an interactive movie which cannot e uploaded to YouTube but can be uploaded to a webserver. I treid to explain one of those features in:

Interactive Video Buttons - Captivate blog

Here is a link to an interactive movie, which is never possible on YouTube (have some passive video there as well):

Look into using YouTube End Screens and Cards.

The TOC is part of the skin, not the content.  So when you publish to MP4 you are NOT publishing the skin, only the content area.

If all you want is something that LOOKS like a TOC and seems to show where you are up to as the video plays, you could create a fake TOC from Smart Shapes or similar.  But video output is NOT interactive.  So you won't be able to replicate the interactivity of a typical Captivate TOC once you publish to video.
