Step 01: In the PowerPoint Slides i have given Hyperlink to the text & Images (Hyperlinks may consist of slide jump too)

Step 02: import the PowerPoint Slides in to captivate

Step 03: Publish as HTML5  SCORM pack (Without Flash)

Step 04: Test in the local browser to preview/ and tested with SCORM pack tester. Hyperlink is not working in both the place.

Upload your SCORM Package to SCORM Cloud and test it from there.  It could be that your link is being blocked when you try to run it locally.  If it still doesn't work from SCORM Cloud then you may need to replace the link with one created in Captivate.

I have tested in SCORM cloud, please find the below result.

  • Web page URL Hyper link is working fine, even in local also
  • Slide Jump  (Hyperlink action) is not working in SCORM cloud and local browser also

Please suggest me do we need to create interaction manually in captivate 9 to achieve the slide jump functionality?

How did you create the hyperlinks, and what are they pointing to? Is it to a website, to another slide in the project, or doing something else? Hyperlinks in Captivate can trigger a lot of commands as I showed in these two blog posts:

More is in a...hyperlink - Close button - Captivate blog

More is in a... hyperlink - Dropdown Menu - Captivate blog

As for the HTML5 output: how did you test? Full testing requires to publishe and upload to a webserver, or in case of a SCO to a LMS.
