Hi,

I know you can hyperlink a string of text and point the link to another slide etc. I would like to turn off the blue underline/text color. It that possible with captivate 9?

Thank you in advance.

A Hyperlink is always created with the Hyperlink insert button. Formatting the text that has been converted to a hyperlink will not delete the hyperlink at all. There is no dedicated object style for Hyperlink text, reason is that Captivate only has styles for text containers, not what is called 'character style' as you can find in desktop publishing apps. Functionality will be kept when formatting the hyperlink text. Have a look at my articles about hyperlinks:

More is in a...hyperlink - Close button - Captivate blog

More is in a... hyperlink - Dropdown Menu - Captivate blog

Yes, you can edit the formatting of the text as you would with any other text. Keep in mind though, that users require some type of visual cue that a hyperlink is a hyperlink. I would change the color but keep the underline.

    Hi Paul,

Yes, you are right there has to be some indication that the word or the line of text is a hyperlink. I have taken that into consideration.

So question remains how to removing the underline and still create a hyperlink.?
