I am getting a flashing white screen when my video slides transition from video to simulation

I have imported some video into slides and also created content slides in my project file.  I published it as a video.  During the playback, I see white screens on which the player is attempting to load the next slide with a video attached OR I see flashes at the start of a video.  I do not know how to fix it. Any ideas?

    This is due to the output you are using. Captivate is not meant to string individual videos to one big video. You need a dedicated video editor like Premiere for that purpose. Indeed when publishing to HTML5 the video on a video slide needs to be loaded On Enter for that slide and that effect is what you are now seeing in the present result. Publish the content slides to MP4 and assemble them with the videos in an application meant for that goal.
