Captivate 9 export to MP4 on Mac. The resulting video has good resolution, but it is flickering and has audio stopping and starting and timing problems when there is movement on stage.

We are having the same problem- did you ever find a solution?

No, I never found a solution. I decided simply to never use Captivate in this manner... that is – distributing a video across multiple slides, adding transitions and exporting to mp4. Right now I can't even remember why I was doing this.

More info I should have added to the question:

Plays great when exported to swf or when exported to HTML5

-----

Captivate project contains imported mp4 video at 30 fps

publish video settings in captivate are:

profile: High

Level: 40

bitrate encoding: VBR, 1 Pass

Target Bitrate: 2

Max Bitrate: 4

Resolution: 1024 x 627

11 slides

Size of the published MP4? You inserted MP4's which is a compressed format, when publishing with CP you'll compress more.

Original video inserted into Captivate is 1920 x 1080.

Yes, I see the double compression, but still need to know how to make it work smoothly. Thanks.
